// a small, sleep-aware RPG for Android
WAYFARER is a short, local-first role-playing journey into a candlelit place called the Drowned Cloister. It is built around meaning per minute, not keeping you engaged. A sitting has a clear end, and the game does not ask for your attention while you are away.
You begin by choosing a name and an affinity: Endurance, Wit, Resolve, or Faith. Then you enter the Drowned Cloister and move through narrative encounters one choice at a time.
There are no timers or away-time punishments. Progress happens through explicit actions in the app. You can play the complete journey from the couch: walking is not required, and there is no hidden progress waiting on a step count.
The game is local-first. It needs no account and no network connection. Your journey stays on the phone.
This is a direct-share Android build, not a Play Store release. It does not include Android Health Connect, background or scheduled notifications, or the iOS-only HealthKit, Live Activities, and widgets.
Download the APK, open it, and allow your browser to install apps from unknown sources if Android asks. Then open WAYFARER. Android 8.0 or newer is required.
